{"id":993,"date":"2008-12-13T00:10:07","date_gmt":"2008-12-13T00:10:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osmeusapontamentos.com\/?p=993"},"modified":"2008-12-13T00:10:07","modified_gmt":"2008-12-13T00:10:07","slug":"michael-crichton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/osmeusapontamentos.com\/index.php\/2008\/12\/13\/michael-crichton\/","title":{"rendered":"Michael Crichton"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>&#8220;(&#8230;) it&#8217;s a lot easier to have a strong opinion when you lack information.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ent\u00e3o morreu o <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Michael_Crichton\">Michael Crichton<\/a>&#8230; e ent\u00e3o? l\u00e1 por ter escrito o <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jurassic_Park\">Jurassic Park<\/a> esse super-mega-hiper blockbuster j\u00e1 \u00e9 um escritor de alto gabarito?<br \/>\nAh, mas tamb\u00e9m foi ele que criou a s\u00e9rie <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ER_(TV_series)\">E.R.<\/a>, sim que ele na sua vida anterior tinha tirado o curso de Medicina.<\/p>\n<p>Bom, na verdade at\u00e9 tinha uns livros interessante sobre ci\u00eancia, tecnologia, suas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es e, normalmente, os seus falhan\u00e7os, com a vantagem de serem divertidos.<br \/>\nEsses livros (n\u00e3o sabia eu) inclu\u00edam ainda a bibliografia do que ele tinha consultado como prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para a sua escrita&#8230; embora nem sempre as suas conclus\u00f5es fossem iguais \u00e0s dos autores desses estudos.<br \/>\nE como quem pensa normalmente chega a conclus\u00f5es tamb\u00e9m tinha <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Michael_Crichton#Speeches\">opini\u00f5es interessantes sobre alguns temas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Enfim, os preconceitos s\u00e3o de facto tramados. Quando olhamos para o trabalho de uma pessoa e\/ou reinterpreta\u00e7\u00f5es desse trabalho, criamos uma imagem dessa pr\u00f3pria pessoa que provavelmente n\u00e3o tem muito a ver com o que ela \u00e9, mas \u00e9 essa imagem que vai servir de base (porque d\u00e1 mais jeito n\u00e3o estar sempre a questionar tudo) para avaliar outros comportamentos \/ constru\u00e7\u00f5es dessa pessoa&#8230; o que nem sempre \u00e9 boa ideia.<\/p>\n<p>A voz e a conversa \u00e9 de facto uma coisa interessante&#8230;<br \/>\nVer por isso, ou neste caso, ouvir, a reposi\u00e7\u00e3o da entrevista de Michael Crichton no <a href=\"http:\/\/itc.conversationsnetwork.org\/shows\/detail3928.html\">programa de Moyra Gunn disponivel via ITConversations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;&#8230;the thing that I find the most curious is that we seem to have a&#8230; i described it at times as a kind of amnesia.
