Já vem um bocado fora do tempo mas ouvi recentemente a melhor definição do que são as convenções americanas de definição dos seus candidatos. Diziam no “The Bugle” de 1-set-2008:

“…the convention center itself looks like what would happen if you’d got a six year old to design their own birthday party: I want a million ballons, and tv screens all up the wall onto the ceiling, and I want doughnuts, thousands upon thousands of doughnuts.”
